and can only be accessed by invited members of S.O.C.
All S.O.C. members are welcome to join the group. To gain access you will need to register. You can use the form sent to you when joining (if you do not have a form then contact the webmaster who will arrange for one to be sent to you, or click on this link to print one off for yourself). After sending in the registration form you will be sent an invitation to join the group at the email address shown on the form. To make the process easier, you can send your details (as required on the form) by email to either the webmaster or membership secretary.

Going on holiday alone
Single people are welcome at almost all of our naturist destinations. But while many singles are happy with their own company when on holiday, others don't want to be alone. And many observe that one person's holiday alone is usually about 75% of the cost of two people holidaying together. After all whether you are one or two you need a room or apartment, and probably a hire car too for most of our holidays. So Chalfont Holidays are offering single people a scheme to find a holiday companion. The plan is to help find two people who will share twin bedded accommodation and any hire car which may be required. Of course we cannot guarantee that your companion will be compatible or that any friendships that arise from such pairing will be successful.
The Initiative
We hope individuals, and that means you, will take the initiative and decide on a holiday destination, with appropriate dates and flights that they would like to go on. We will then price the holiday up for you, and an as yet unknown companion. The holiday will include specific flights, transfers or hire car and accommodation. If you agree that half the price is acceptable to you we will then proceed to the second stage.
The Invitation
The holiday will now be advertised on the singles section of our web site with a reference number, with something about yourself, and with any specific requirements you may have for the companion that you would find acceptable. People can view the list of holidays being proposed in this way by different individual "initiators" on our web site, or they can send a stamped envelope to us for a print out of the present list. The list will not contain any direct contact information.
The Response
If someone reads about your holiday plan and would like to share your holiday with you they will contact Chalfont Holidays giving your reference number. We will then contact you their details and ask you to contact them. We will not give the "responder" your contact details; that would be for you to do if you wish. However in initiating a holiday in this way it is a requirement that you agree to make contact with anyone who responds. It would then be up to you to decide whether the two of you would like to go on holiday together. It is important to make clear at this stage any preconditions or expectations you might have about the holiday or your holiday companion.
The Booking
If you both agree you would like to share the holiday, both of you should then contact Chalfont Holidays by telephone, preferably on the same day, to make the final arrangements and book the holiday. At this stage a final costing will be given, which hopefully will be the same as the original one, but things may have changed in the meanwhile, particularly if there had been a long interlude. Both parties will then need to pay in full their half of the costs. This is because if one party cancelled the other would be left with a holiday that was only half paid for. So in these cases there will be no refund in the event of one party cancelling, but in some circumstances a refund may be available from their travel insurance company.
The Documents
Receipts will be sent immediately to both parties. When they are issued the flight tickets will also be sent to each person. The car hire (or transfer) and accommodation vouchers will be sent to the initiating party.
The Holiday
Obviously Chalfont Holidays hope you will have a great shared holiday and that you will get on well together. However Chalfont Holidays will take no responsibility for any problems or differences arising between the two parties. This is why it is very important to decide at the response stage whether you are two compatible personalities.

Holiday in Croatia
There was a members holiday to Valalta, Croatia from Tuesday 3rd to Tuesday 10th of June 2008, arranged through Peng Travel. A small group of 5 made the trip to this dedicated naturist resort.
